Is this something people really do? I mean, if you go to the Yahoo chat rooms, or check sex phone sites like NiteFlirt (look under Fantasy there), they have huge roleplay sections. Apparently there is quite “a market” for fantasy roleplay. It’s something I have toyed with online, but never actually brought into the bedroom. I did try, last night as it happens (yes, there is a reason for me blogging about it today lol). It’s been a while since I’ve shared any bedroom experiences. Sex was there, always, and not bad sex at it too. But even good sex gets routine after a while. The best, most intimate lovemaking, and also the roughest sex, either gets well, dare I say it, a little boring after a while. And since we spent the year here going through various positions, trying facials and anal, I was looking for something new.
I think hubby is reluctant to include toys. It could just be me misreading him, won’t be the first time. I have offered visits to sex shops and got a very clear refusal on that one. No huge surprise either. He’s a wonderful husband and father, the “good” kind, ya know. Not the kind that goes into seedy sex shops I guess.
So, last night, I mentioned maybe we need something nice to spice things up a little. I could hear the suspicion in his voice when he asked what… Funny though, when I mentioned roleplay I figured he would like the idea. I thought that was what is known as “vanilla”, i.e. pretty tame. His initial response was more like shock and awe lol. Well, ok, not as bad as an American invasion to Iraq, but you get the drift. He said it would just be too awkward, feel too weird. I told him funny can be nice, it’s ok to laugh every now and again. I finally got his initial, if heistant agreement. The next problem was even worse. I consider myself versatile and would go with any fantasy he would come up. But no fantasy to work with is a lot more difficult. I tried making a few suggestions myself, trying to find some nice erotic trigger for him. I suggested playing doctor, scouts guide, military, neighbors… I offered playing either part in any of those scenarios. I think I am officially labeled as the sexual perv wacko around these parts now. Only kidding, we ended up making out, and I was his swedish masseuse. Didn’t get into a lot of actual “roleplay”, he was one cheeky customer to begin with lol, reaching with his hands right away, and going out of character (and sending me out of character too) right away.
Well, baby steps, as they say. We talked about it later and had a nice laugh. I did tell him he needs to think this over and to please come up with a nice fantasy to play with. I’ll keep you all updated about how it goes.
